There were plenty of blessings flowing on Saturday, April 26, 2008 as family and friends gathered at the Dunn's wonderful home. We were blessed beyond measure from each and everyone of you. The chocolate fountain flowed as folks enjoyed dipping another strawberry or pineapple chunk and laughed as the chocolate dribbled on their chin. The conversation was rich with kindness and love. The Detloff's drove all the way from Tennessee. That was a treat within itself. The Lord is faithful and loving. I was touched by all who came to express their support and love. I realize that many were unable to visit, but have expressed support through cards and notes. I so enjoy cards and treasure each of them. We cannot tell you how much Saturday meant to us and how it has encouraged us as we continue to wait for "the phone call". The Lord is faithful and mighty.
